Of Japanese students and foreign students from ASEAN countries, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh attending colleges, junior colleges, graduate schools, and vocational schools in Shizuoka Prefecture, provide scholarship support to students who are bright and academically gifted yet for whom education is difficult due to economic challenges with a goal of contributing to the cultivation of human resources with a global perspective.
During FY2013, conduct preparations for scholarship activities to take place in FY2014 and beyond.
Set scholarship fund amount for FY2024 to 7,200,000 yen, with selection committee to select a total of 30 students and scholarship recipients.

Approx. 9 university, graduate school, junior college, and vocational school students. (Monthly amount: 20,000 yen)
